Today is the day: pub day for The Angel’s very first print edition! 160+ pages of profiles and features, all written by me, photographed by David, and produced in L.A.
For those ordering copies by mail, we’ll start fulfillment on all orders and pre-orders next week.
But if you’re in Los Angeles, come to our release party tonight and buy one in person! The festivities start at the Silverlake Lounge at 7 p.m. David and I will even sign your copies if you ask nicely. :)
In addition to magazines, free drinks, and pigs in a blanket, we’ll have stickers galore and The Angel lighters for sale. The photo booth strips at the bar will feature our logo alongside Substack’s, so be sure to take some pictures. There will be music, probably dancing. And if you buy a copy of the magazine, you’re entitled to a serving of Ed Cornell’s froyo at Café Tropical next door.
