Restaurant — Yabu
Yabu is a neighborhood Japanese restaurant that I grew up going to. It’s been around since 1990 and continues to be so consistently good. I always get the sweet shrimp with salty, crispy fried heads. Sweet miso eggplant. The deluxe chirashi bowl, which is packed with sashimi. I’ll then add anything that looks tempting from their handwritten specials menu. I’ve been going for over 20 years, and can’t wait to go for 20 more.
